Indoor Competitions
Indoor Competitions are a great way to stay active during the colder winter months.
Sportshall
Held during October & November, Sportshall is an indoor event, consisting of a series of track & field events adapted for indoor halls. Points are awarded for individual performances and a series of three fixtures produces team Champions.

Participation can lead to selection for the L&R County Sportshall event in April.

Dome Challenge
A Robins organised event for Primary age children, for all Leicestershire & Rutland clubs, held in February each year.
​
Four events - including a sprint, throw, jump and longer distance - sees children compete in year groups for points in each event.
​
A great introduction to indoor athletics and Quad Kids.

Indoor Track & Field Competitions
Indoor track and field events are typically on a 200-meter banked track and a synthetic infield, rather than an outdoor stadium. This setup leads to shorter races, such as the 60-meter sprint and 60-meter hurdles, along with specific field events including Long Jump, High Jump, Shot & Javelin.

LOCATIONS: vary but include the EIS @ Sheffield and the HiPAC @ Loughborough University
